If your not getting any from your partner, don’t jump to conclusions, just yet. It might be that he is seeing someone else, but it can also be that he has different issues. Here are the possible explanations for his low libido:
1. He is tired
You man is simply exhausted. Whether he has a lot of work or he is just out of shape, it reflects in his lack of interest when it comes to sex. This usually last for a short period of time and it can be cured with resting or physical exercise, depending on the case.2. He is depressed
This happens from different reasons and, generally speaking, this is the main reason for the low libido. Depression is a treatable condition, however, and talking about the issue plays a central role in recovery. Do convince you man to see the doctor for a proper prescription.
3. He is under certain pills/drugs
There are certain anti-depressives that can rob your partner of his sex mood. Also, some recreational drugs like cannabis are known to reduce sex drive. Nevertheless, excessive amounts of alcohol, heroin and cocaine will also have a marked effect on his libido. He should stop taking them if you ever want to have quality sex.
4. He is low on testosterone
Sometimes men have low levels of this male hormone and it can lower his libido. take him to a doctor that should be able to prescribe him an adequate treatment. Usually, in this situation, a hormonal replacement therapy will help.5. He is generally not well
Whether he has an untreated cold or some serious medical problem like thyroid disease, it can lower his sex drives. Men can be dificult when it come to being patients, but you need to convince them to get treatment.6. He has ‘an issue’
Sometimes, men can show a lack of interest in sex when they have a problem on their mind. This is not just related to stress, but also to certain things that he is not able to talk to you about. Communication can set him free, so insist on having a serious talk no matter how much he refuses it.7. He is complacent
It’s common for routine to make its way into long relationships. The physical attraction is not as intense as it used to be and the emotional bond begins to strengthen. As a result, the desire to have sex is not that intense and often as it used to be. This is not a problem if both partner feel the same way, but if one is feeling neglected, a conversation about it should take place.
8. He is involved with someone else
This is the worst case. He is not interested in you sexually because he is having an affair. Don’t jump to conclusions without evidence and don;t accuse him. Have a talk with him when you are sure about it and decide what to to next.October 12, 2011 at 5:59 pm #39874I find exercise helps!
